Since Osaka is not close to where the earthquake happened Osaka is fine so far.
I could not even feel the ground shake,but I am worried about the problems with nuclear power plants. The Japanese goverment says that the situation is not so serious, but from the experience of the Chernobyl
I don't believe our goverment 100 %.

• Today many of my lang-8 friends wrote about/talked about/ the Japan earthquake and tsunami that happened today.
• Just a moment ago, I was also watching that video news.
• Wooo, it`s so terrible, and really scary!
• The newscaster said that it `s the biggest earthquake in Japanese history, and the Richter scale is 8.8.
• Experts predicts that this tsunami will effect on countries close to Japane, and by about 6:00 tomorrow Taiwan also will be affected by this tsunami .
• The countries near Japan and the Pacific coast are on high alert now.
• I saw the footage of the Sendai airport being submerged by the waves on the news.
• There are many Japanese waiting for their flights now at the InChun airport.
• Currently all air planes bound for Japan have been grounded.
• This is because the Tokyo Narita Airport and Haneda Airport are partially closed.
• It was also broadcast that the Tokyo subways and electric railways were suspended

I went out in the morning, and in the afternoon(=this afternoon) I went to the army to see my son off. I droved my son to his military base/military camp. We ate kalguksu (칼국수:handmade chopped noodles ) nearby the army, and I drove alone to my home. As I mentioned yesterday in the train on the way home, we are having a Baha'i New Year Party / Devotional meeting at my home on Monday, March 21st, starting at 11:00 AM. We will start with some prayers, readings and music, and then have either lunch and social time. Ndumiso will be there, and probably a graduate student from China and a number of other people.
I'm not sure about Naoko and Daniel, but I think it will be too far for them to come with the children.
I hope that you will come anyway, if you are free.If you do come, please come to Kodo Station on the Kintetsu line (it's the first local train stop south of Shintanabe). Please give a call to let me know when you'll arrive and either I or Ndumiso will meet you at the station and bring you to my house.

I understand that through your presentation you have aimed to prove
the absence of the LA appendage thrombus using a CT scan.

But if there is a thrombus in the proximal site of the LAA, the HU
ratio wouldn't be under 0.43. Do you have any cases like this?

And could you tell me more details about why some patients have a low
HU ratio and don't have a thrombus in the LA appendage?
