Ancient Greek mythology is a vast group of legends about gods and goddesses, heroes and monsters, warriors and fools, that were an important part of everyday life in the ancient world. Greek myths explained everything from religious rituals to the weather
and gave meaning to the world that people saw around them.

Who would come up with the idea of launching an extraterrestrial virtual influencer, a fan of our planet, in the midst of current events? Well... Me!

I'm Rodrigo, a 3D animator and art director. I've created a virtual influencer who, from his planet, inspires and brings joy to us Earthlings.

With my creativity and AI, I bring ideas to life and successfully capture movements. Alongside a team of artists, we breathe life into the comedic story of Bloomie.

The United States was peopled gradually / by successive waves of immigration / coming from all over the world./
Mass immigration started after 1815.
Between 1815 and 1860, / 5 million people immigrated to the United States,/ they came from Ireland, / the rest of the British Isles , / Germany , /France , / Holland and Switzerland.
These people left their countries / for a variety of reasons ,/ for example one of the main cause / was political instability or demographic growth, / they also suffered from religious persecutions / and economic difficulties / (famine in Ireland in 1846-1847) / so they decided to flee.
Between 1860 and 1880,/ 10 million people / mainly from the British Isles and Germany / immigrated to the USA.
Between 1880 and 1914 , / 15 million immigrants arrived in America. / The etnic background of immigrants / began to change , / they came from Eastern and Southerrn European countries . / Their arrival / met with the hostility of American people / who demanded / that immigration should become selective./
The first measure / aiming at controlling immigration / was the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 / which prevented Chinese / from settling in America.
In 1917 , / the Literacy Test / (aimed at checking if immigrants could read) / was implemented./ Then , / there were quota laws / to reduce the numbers of immigrants./
In 1965 , / the Quota laws were modified./

On December 24, 1971, 17-year-old Juliane Koepcke was the sole survivor of a plane crash that killed the other 91 passengers. More than forty years later, she tells her story.

“On Christmas Eve, 1971, me and my mother boarded a flight from Lima, Peru to Pucallpa in the Amazonian rainforest in order to join my father.

Suddenly, after twenty-five minutes of flight, we entered into a very heavy, dark cloud.
There was heavy turbulence and the plane was jumping up and down. Parcels and luggage were falling from the lockers and gifts were flying around the cabin. When lightning struck the airplane I was scared. Passengers were screaming and crying around me. Then the plane crashed and I lost consciousness and remember nothing of the impact.

I woke up the next morning in the Amazonian forest. I shouted out for my mother but I only heard the sounds of the jungle. I suffered from a broken collarbone and I had deep cuts on my arms and legs.

I found a river and I followed it downstream, hoping to find civilization. It was very hot and wet and it rained several times a day. It was cold in the night and I was only wearing a short mini-dress. Besides, I was really hungry because my only food was a bag of candies. I avoided crocodiles, piranhas, snakes and other dangerous jungle creatures but insects bit me and infected my wounds. I felt so lonely and scared.

After spending nine days in the jungle I finally saw a boat. Near the boat was a shelter in which I fell asleep. Several hours later, some men returned to the shelter and took care of my injuries and they gave me food. The next day they took me down the river to find help. The boat trip took seven hours. My father was waiting for me. We held each other before they took me to the hospital.

I was the only survivor of the plane crash”.
