You've got to be confident when you're competing. You've got to be a beast. When the U.S. flag was raised and the national anthem played, there were so many camera flashes going off I felt like I was at a concert. And the crazy thing was they were all taking pictures of me!
I just want people to know it took a lot. It took a lot of hard days in the gym and determination, and passion.. Gold medals are made out of your sweat, blood and tears, and effort in the gym every day, and sacrificing a lot.The hard work definitely paid off and hard work always does.
I just want to continue with gymnastics because I'm still young and fresh. I think I can get some more titles under my belt.

When you're an athlete, it’s important to drink water. If you drink water you can run longer. It rehydrates your body and the minerals make you last longer.

That's the case for cyclists. They don’t stop pedali
ng, but there are people on the side of the road who give them water bottles.

Athletes also have to eat more than other people because they burn more calories than other people, but have to be more careful than others about what they eat. Most of them have to eat more slow-burning sugar than we do.

I’d say “Go Farther, Run Faster and Live Longer”

The first tip is: Drink more water
    – I don’t like water so I mix it up and
drink sparkling water as well as flat water.
Then, do more exercise at least 4 days per week,
Eat better – I have a balanced diet
    – I limit how often I eat non-healthy foods, but after
eating not so healthy foods, I will balance that with healthy ones.

    - Use technology to help you with your goals. You track your calories burned, etc. I use
a new app to connect with friends and family so we can achieve better health together.
