I chose " I am Legend" . It is based on a horror fiction novel. It was written in December 2007.
A plague kills most of humanity.
It transforms the rest into monsters.
It takes place in New York where the sole survivor struggles to find a cure.
The main character is Robert Neville. He is a scientist. He was unable to stop the spread of the terrible man-made virus.
He sends out daily radio messages to find any other survivors. Mutant victims of the plague are "the infected". They watch Neville's every move.
Personally, I found this movie to be very good and one of my favourites. Neville's past is revealed through flashbacks.
