One night a woman went out for drinks with her girlfriends. She left the bar late at night. When she got in her car, she saw someone smoking in a pick-up.
She was driving on the deserted highway when she noticed she was low on gas. She was irritated because there was no sign of civilization anywhere. After a few miles, she pulled into a gas station.
She was frightened by the odd behavior of the attendant. He was smiling strangely while he was filling up the tank. While she was looking for money in her bag, he tried to get her to leave the car and join him in the office.
She refused and drove off as fast as she could.
As she drove, she noticed a lone pair of headlights in her rear-window mirror, approaching fast.
The car pulled up behind her, dangerously close to her car, and the brights flashed.
Now she was getting nervous. The car behind her kept flashing the lights on and off making signs with his hands.
It followed her until she reached home and pulled into her driveway. Terrified, she made a mad dash into her house and called the police. As she ran from the car, so did the driver of the car behind her - and he screamed, "Lock the door and call the police ! Call 911 !"
When the police arrived the horrible truth was finally revealed to the woman. The man in the car had been trying to save her. As he pulled up behind her and his headlights illuminated her car, he saw the silhouette of a man with an axe rising up from the back seat behind her, so he flashed his brights to warn her.
The police arrested the killer in the back seat who turned out to be an escaped mental patient.

Boo on the loose
Sulley works at Monsters, INC.
His job is scaring children.
Look! This is the Wall of Fame. You can see Sulley on the Wall of Fame because he’s the Top Scarer!
Monsters go through bedroom doors to scare children!
The city of Monstropolis uses the energy from the children’s screams for their cars, for their lights, for everything!
Late one night, Sulley sees a door on the Scare Floor: He is confused; he opens the door and peeks inside.
It’s a little girl’s bedroom and the girl enters the Monster World!
Her name is BOO.
Sulley is afraid of Boo; Children are toxic to monsters. A single touch can kill monsters!
Sulley takes Boo to his friend, Mike.
Mike is not happy. Boo scares him! “Children are toxic!“ he says
Mike has a plan. “We can leave Boo in the park!”
They go to the park. But Boo is now in the car and the doors are locked!
Mike and Sulley can’t get into the car!
Then Boo sees a butterfly and she gets out of the car. The butterfly flies into the forest and Boo runs after the butterfly!
Mike and Sulley have lost Boo! Mike wants to leave. But Sulley doesn’t want to leave. Sulley likes Boo. She’s so cute!
Mike goes to the car but the car can’t start. There’s no energy! It’s empty!
Sulley has a great idea. “We need Boo’s screams to start the car!” he says.
Sulley runs into the forest “I can find Boo” he says.
Boo is happy to see Sulley and little Mikey!
Boo gives Sulley a big, big hug. They’re friends!
Sulley and Boo find Mike in the car. Sulley is happy; He’s not afraid of Boo any more!
But they still need Boo’s screams to start the car!
Sulley doesn’t want to scare Boo. He doesn’t want her to scream. He doesn’t want her to cry!
Mike is mad! He bumps his head on the steering wheel and the horn goes *honk honk*!
Boo laughs, and laughs, and laughs! Her laugh starts the car!
Mike is happy. Sulley is happy. Boo is happy. It’s time to go home!

October 18, 2013-Reading Time
(The pictures below) It's reading time before the classes start. Everyday when the children arrive, they go to their classroom, drink a carton of milk, and read books that they like. Today, I came here as a temporary teacher for the first grade class, and will teach these children today. All of them are good boys and girls. I enjoy interacting with the children. However, my time with them is limited as it is difficult for me to work everyday. Therefore, being a temporary teacher is a good solution for me.

Josie waited until she could no longer hear the television in her mother's bedroom - Leno, not Letterman - and then rolled onto her side to watch the LED acrobatics of the digital clock. When it was 2:00 a.m., she decided it was safe, and she pulled back her covers and got out of bed. She knew how to sneak downstairs. She'd done it a couple of times before, meeting Matt outside in the backyard. One night, he'd texted her on her cell - 1/2 2 C U now. She had gone out to him in her pajamas, and for a moment when he touched her she actually thought she would slip through his fingers. There was only one landing where the floorboards creaked, and Josie knew enough to step over it. Downstairs, she rummaged through the stack of DVDs for the one she wanted - the one she didn't want to be caught viewing. Then she turned on the television, muting the sound so low she had to sit right on top of the screen and its built-in speakers to hear. The first person shown was Courtney. She held up her hand, blocking whoever had been videotaping. She was laughing, though; her long hair falling over her features like a screen of silk.
