I enjoy being active. I wouldn't want to sit on a beach and look out at the ocean all day. Cycling tours with a small rucksack and a tent are more my cup of tea.
I save all my money to be able to pay for a luxurious holiday in the Caribbean once a year. It has to be really 'posh' with a fancy hotel, cocktails and expensive food. I'd die if I had to spend even one night at a guest house.
I don't know if anybody except me would call my trips a 'holiday'. I am part of an organization that sends people to third world countries, for example in Africa, that helps build houses and schools. You can't really say that it's relaxing but it certainly gives me a good feeling - knowing that I have helped people who need help.

Dear Mr Jennings, this is Mrs Watkins. Your son David had a small accident during THE break. Don't worry, it is nothing serious. He says he has a headache and doesn't feel well enough to go to his next lessons. Can you please come and pick him up?
Hi Mark. Remember the tickets to the gig I wanted to buy for us? Well, I'm afraid there weren't any left. The concert is completely sold out. Can you believe it? I didn't think the band was so popular!
Alicia, I am very disappointed in you. I told you about my problem with Abby because I thought you were my best friend. And you go and tell her? How could you do that to me? I will never tell you anything in confidence again!

Hi Emily, sorry I missed your call, I was in the shower and didn't hear the phone. It looks like you're out at the moment. Well, I'm home all day so please call me again, when you get in.
Dear Mrs Kinkaid, this is Electronics Central. We are calling about the personal computer you ordered. It arrived this morning, so you can come and pick it up. If you want us to send it to you, please call and let us know.
Hey George, sorry, but I can't make it to the movies tonight. My parents have to work late and I'll have to look after Calvin - again. I think he's old enough to stay home alone now, but my parents don't. How about tomorrow?
