The encounter is described in detail, because Count Dracula seems strange to the narrator.
The welcoming of the count seems normal but is spooky at the same time. He sounds friendly, yet his attitude is weird. He is standing like a statue; he doesn’t move. Moreover, he has a strange intonation.
Yet = But

Are you in years 6 to 9?
Are you often tired during the day because of lack of sleep?
Do you have difficulties focusing and being attentive in class?
If so, the Nap Club could be just the thing for you.
In this club, you'll be able to chill out and get some rest.
Some scientists have proven that taking a short nap helps in:
– reducing irritability and stress by making your body more relaxed
– refreshing the mind and boosting creativity
– finding new ideas and solutions
– improving learning and memory skills
In recent years, students who used to have some very bad results at school have done very well. They really got better.
So come and join us for a live new experience! Just bring your pillow and your blanket. And don't worry, someone is here to wake you up on time for the afternoon classes!
Sessions normally take place in the Gym, right after lunch, from 1 pm to 1:45 pm.
The number of sessions will be doubled during exam periods.
Fee is £3.
If you are interested in taking part, watch for the notices at the beginning of next month.
