    (2013.10.31) <Christmas Ornaments >
I found these ornaments for Christmas at a store a few days ago. I would practice English expressions in English. Santa Claus, who wears his red and white suit, and has a long white beard, comes with an armful of gifts. A glittering deer and a white snowman wearing a hat and a muffler also appeared. Christmas ornaments make people's hearts flutter. It seems winter is coming soon.

You should’ve done it years ago.
Don’t take it out on me.
If your elbow itches, scratch it.
I tore a page out of the book.
    If it’s crooked, straighten it.
    Have you heard the latest?
I haven’t heard anything from him.
They charge for parts and labour.
    You’re slowing down the class.
    Speed up.
Who does he think he is?
It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Birds of a feather flock together.
    Who puts them back together?
You’ve gone too far this time.
You’ll have to grin and bear it.
    I don’t hold a grudge.
Don’t bend down to pick it up.
    You’re a jinx.
    First, back out.
    Don’t lean out the window.
How can I make it up to you?
It’s not worth it any more.
I'm reading a book that thick.
    It’s not looking good.

    I have goose pimples.
    Raise the drawbridge.
There’s an old saying that says…
I can rule out this alternative.

    I can’t take it anymore.
    Speed up the pace.
    Don’t fall behind.
    You’re stepping on me.

What do you mean you’re tired?
    What does N.A.T.O. mean?
    I tried to trip him.
    You’re blushing.

    Don’t get me wrong!
I didn’t mean to do it.
I want to read a quote from Larra.
    There’s a shortage of Scots.
    We have a cash surplus.

Smoke’s coming out of the vent.
    Sit up.
    Spread butter on the bread.
    Don’t you dare….!
    This will relieve the pain.
