One of the next releases of the video game company Ubisoft is Assassins Creed Unity, This game is one of the most anticipated by fans because this game promises to be one of the best in the year as it is only for the new generation consoles. Other importan think is the story, the game's story is based on the french revolution.

Good manners are always good manners. That’s what Miranda Ingram, who is English, thought until she married Alexander, who is Russian.

When I first met Alexander and he said to me, in Russian, "Nalei mne chai – pour me some tea”, I got angry and answered, "Pour it yourself”. Translated into English, without a Could you…? and a please, it sounded really rude to me. But in Russian it was fine. You don’t have to add any polite words.

However, when I took Alexander home to meet my parents, I had to give him an intensive course in pleases and thank yous (which he thought were completely unnecessary), and to teach him to say sorry even if someone else stepped on his toe, and to smile, smile, smile.

Another thing that Alexander just couldn’t understand was why people said things like, "Would you mind passing me the salt, please?” He said, "It’s only the salt, for goodness sake! What do you say in English if you want a real favor?”

He also watched in amazement when, at a dinner party, we swallowed some really disgusting food and I said, "Mmm… delicious”. In Russia, people are much more direct. The first time Alexander’s mother came to our house for dinner in Moscow, she told me that my soup needed more seasoning. Afterward, when we argued about it, my husband said, "Do you prefer your dinner guests to lie?”

Alexander complained that in England he felt "like the village idiot” because in Russia if you smile all the time, people think that you are crazy. In fact, this is exactly what my husband’s friends thought of me the first time I went to Russia because I smiled at everyone, and translated every please and thank you from English into Russian.

At home we now have an argument. If we’re speaking Russian, he can say "Pour me some tea”, and just make a noise like a grunt when I give it to him. But when we’re speaking English, he has to add a please, a thank you, and a smile.

The big night is over and the list is in. René Redzepi from Noma in Copenhagen is again at the top of the World's 50 Best Restaurants list for 2014, an event sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna. The Roca brothers and their El Celler De Can Roca restaurant in Girona (Spain) dropped down at the second place, while Massimo Bottura from the Osteria Francescana restaurant in Italy is again at the third position.

It was a night enjoyed by some of the culinary profession's biggest players, the regulars who make the list every year and the face of a number of new entries or re-entries - Martín Berasategui and Azurmendi in Spain, Coi in the USA, The Test Kitchen in South Africa, De Librije in the Netherlands, Gaggan in Thailand, Waku Ghin in Singapore.

Restaurant Gaggan in Bangkok claimed the highest new entry, ranking 17, while estaurant Central in Lima, Peru, is the highest climber of 2014 at number 15 (last year was 50). Alex Atala and his D.O.M. restaurant is 2014 Chef's Choice, while One to watch award went to Saison in San Francisco, California. Jordi Roca awarded as 2014 World's Best Pastry Chef, while Azurmendi has been awarded with Sustainable restaurant award.

The USA and Spain came out as the countries with the most venues on the list, each with seven, closely followed by France with 5. All together there were 29 restaurants from Europe, 7 from Asia and USA, 6 from South America, 1 from Australia and 1 from South Africa.

October 31st is Halloween. Halloween is not a holiday but it is a very special day for children in Canada and in the United States. On Halloween, children dress up in costumes. Some children wear masks and some children wear makeup. They dress up as monsters, famous people, ghosts, witches and pirates... In the evening they walk around in their neighbourhood and go from house to house shouting "Trick or Treat!" At each house people give out many kinds of candy. One traditionnal custom of Halloween is to put a Jack O Lantern at the window. To make a Jack O Lantern, we clear the inside of a pumpkin, cut out the eyes, the nose and the mouth and put a candle inside it. People often decorate their house with pictures of black cats, spiders or witches and bats and sometimes ghosts.

John became my best friend since the freshman year in high school. I often talk with him, simply because, I can tell him anything, and I never received any judgement. I screw something up, I can tell him. I fail a relationship, I can tell him. We can be completely honest to each other. The other days, I even entrusted my credit card to him. Now we are far away from each other, but we talk much about our recent life by phone, cause both of us want to know, if we are OK, and what we are up to. If he got some troubles, I would feel uneasy. If I had a tough time, he would also give me some useful suggestions.

An ultralight airplane is very different from a conventional airplane. It looks like a lawn chair with wings, weighs no more than 254 pounds, flies up to 60 miles an hour, and carries about 5 gallons of fuel. Most ultralights are sold as kits and take about 40 hours to assemble. Flying an ultralight is so easy that a pilot with no experience can fly one. Accidents are rarely fatal or even serious because the ultralight lands so slowly and gently and carries so little fuel. Some models now have parachutes attached, while others have parachute packs which pilots can wear.
