Yesterday, I saw the following video news on the internet.
So~~^^ ~~ It occurred to me may be it could help my friends who are learning Korean.
Even if it`s not easy to understand, don`t be depressed/disappointed, at all!.
Because he talks very fast so it`s very hard to follow his speaking.
But I guess that If you just get the feeling of Korean news, then it`s OK!

Four foreigners in Britain talk about the people and the country...

Nicolae from Romania works in a pub in Manchester: British people like children but not in retaurants or pubs. In my pub we have a rule: "No children under 12". People in Britain drink a lot of coffee- cappuccino and espresso are really popular. They drink a lot of beer too- men and women.

Alexandra from Russia is a student at Bristol University: This is not a good country for smokers! Many coffee bars and restaurants are "no smoking". I live with three British students and they don't smoke. When I want a cigarette I go into the garden.

Carlos is a tourist from Spain: People read the newspaper everywhere: on the train, on the bus,at the bus stop... And the newspapers are really big! Cars stop in Britain when you stand on the zebra crossing- it's incredible! Cars don't stop for you in Madrid.

Marília from Brazil works as an au pair in Cambridge: I think my British family is typical. The woman doesn't cook- she just puts a pizza in the microwave. But she watches cooking programmes on TV every day! The man cooks at the weekend- he makes fantastic Indian curries. Their child has a terrible diet. She eats "fish fingers" and chips and she goes to Burger King every week.

• It’s getting so hot. I found out through the internet the news that the Han-River swimming pool had opened.
• So I would like to introduce it to my lang-8 friends . (So, let me introduce these swimming pools to you lang-8 friends .)
• Seoul has a river be called the ‘Han-River’.
• Han-Gang flows through the middle of Seoul from east to west. I really like the Han-River.
• Seoul has 12 Han-river public-parks which serve as leisure places for citizens.
• In the summer time we open swimming-pools to let/ help kids’ enjoy summer .
• Han-Gang divides Seoul into Gang-nam (강남south of Seoul) and Gang-buk (north of Seoul), and 20 bridges connect these two places.
• Furthermore, pleasure boats help you enjoy and experience Han-Gang `s authentic atmosphere.
• This time I found some pictures of Han-Gang.
• I hope it can help you appreciate Han-Gang even a little.

날이 더워집니다.
인터넷에서 한강 수영장을 개장했다는 소식을 보았습니다..
그래서 lang-8친구들에게 간단히 소개 할까 합니다.
서울에는 큰 강이 하나 있는데 ‘한강’이라고 하지요.
한강은 동쪽에서 시작하여 서울 중심을 지나 서쪽의 황해로 흘러갑니다.
나는 한강을 정말 좋아합니다.
이 한강에는 12개의 시민 공원이 있어서 시민들에게 휴식의 공간을 제공해줍니다.
그리고 여름에는 수영장을 개방하여 시민들에게 여름의 즐거움을 만끽 하도록 해 주지요.
한강이 서울의 중심을 지나며 서울을 강남과 강북으로 구분해 주며, 20여개의 다리가 이 두 곳을 연결해 줍니다.
그리고 또, 유람선이 있어서 유람선을 타고 한강의 분위기를 맛 볼 수 있습니다.
오늘 사진 몇 장을 찾아서 올렸어요.
여러분의 한강 이해에 도움이 되었으면 합니다.
참, 그리고 여기 한 아빠가 쓴 블로그가 있네요. 아들을 데리고 몇 일 전에 한강 수영장에 다녀 왔나 봅니다.

据天气预报，这个周末‘还会’继续下雨。真的又潮湿又闷热。看来天还不想“止住”眼泪 。。。　＠。＠；
没办法让它“止住”眼泪，我只能努力“改变心情让自己愉快些”。下边的日记是我去年这个时候写的中文日记。
我今天”又重新看了一遍”，看还有没有要修改的地方 。
不过我不敢确定是否该要修改的地方。

天气热了。我在网上看到了开放汉江游泳池的新闻。
所以现在给lang-8朋友们 简单点介绍首尔的汉江。
在首尔有一条江，叫‘汉江‘。它从东边开始，穿过首尔的中间向西边的黄海流去。我非常喜欢 ‘汉江‘。
在汉江有12个公园,给人们提供休息的空间，＝它们是人们休息的空间．）
还有每个夏天还开放游泳池给孩子们，让他们尽量享受夏天的快乐。由于汉江，首尔被分成了江南和江北，因此有20多座桥来连接南北两岸。还有我们可以乘着游船享受汉江两岸的风光。

Site-wide consistency

When CSS is used effectively, in terms of inheritance and "cascading," a global style sheet can be used to affect and style elements site-wide. If the situation arises that the styling of the elements should need to be changed or adjusted, these changes can be made by editing rules in the global style sheet. Before CSS, this sort of maintenance was more difficult, expensive and time-consuming.

Bandwidth

A stylesheet, whether internal to the source document or separate, will specify the style once for a range of HTML elements selected by class, type or relationship to others. This is much more efficient than repeating style information inline for each occurrence of the element. An external stylesheet is usually stored in the browser cache, and can therefore be used on multiple pages without being reloaded, further reducing data transfer over a network.

Page reformatting

Main article: Progressive enhancement
With a simple change of one line, a different style sheet can be used for the same page. This has advantages for accessibility, as well as providing the ability to tailor a page or site to different target devices. Furthermore, devices not able to understand the styling still display the content.

Flexibility
By combining CSS with the functionality of a Content Management System, a considerable amount of flexibility can be programmed into content submission forms. This allows a contributor, who may not be familiar or able to understand or edit CSS or HTML code to select the layout of an article or other page they are submitting on-the-fly, in the same form. For instance, a contributor, editor or author of an article or page might be able to select the number of columns and whether or not the page or article carries an image. This information is then passed to the Content Management System, and the program logic evaluates the information and determines, based on a certain number of combinations, how to apply classes and IDs to the HTML elements, therefore styling and positioning them according to the pre-defined CSS for that particular layout type. When working with large-scale, complex sites, with many contributors such as news and informational sites, this advantage weighs heavily on the feasibility and maintenance of the project.

Separation of content from presentation
CSS facilitates publication of content in multiple presentation formats based on nominal parameters. Nominal parameters include explicit user preferences, different web browsers, the type of device being used to view the content (a desktop computer or mobile Internet device), the geographic location of the user and many other variables.

CSS frameworks are pre-prepared libraries that are meant to allow for easier, more standards-compliant styling of web pages using the Cascading Style Sheets language. Layout-grid related CSS frameworks include Blueprint, 960 grid, and YUI CSS grids. Like programming and scripting language libraries, CSS frameworks are usually incorporated as external .css sheets referenced in the HTML <head>. They provide a number of ready-made options for designing and laying out the web page. While many of these frameworks have been published, some authors use them mostly for rapid prototyping, or for learning from, and prefer to 'handcraft' CSS that is appropriate to each published site without the design, maintenance and download overhead of having many unused features in the site's styling.

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a style sheet language used to describe the presentation semantics (the look and formatting) of a document written in a markup language. Its most common application is to style web pages written in HTML and XHTML, but the language can also be applied to any kind of XML document, including plain XML, SVG and XUL.
CSS is designed primarily to enable the separation of document content (written in HTML or a similar markup language) from document presentation, including elements such as the layout, colors, and fonts. This separation can improve content accessibility, provide more flexibility and control in the specification of presentation characteristics, enable multiple pages to share formatting, and reduce complexity and repetition in the structural content (such as by allowing for tableless web design). CSS can also allow the same markup page to be presented in different styles for different rendering methods, such as on-screen, in print, by voice (when read out by a speech-based browser or screen reader) and on Braille-based, tactile devices. While the author of a document typically links that document to a CSS style sheet, readers can use a different style sheet, perhaps one on their own computer, to override the one the author has specified.
CSS specifies a priority scheme to determine which style rules apply if more than one rule matches against a particular element. In this so-called cascade, priorities or weights are calculated and assigned to rules, so that the results are predictable.

It is not only what we communicate that is important, but also how we communicate it.
When two people from the same culture meet, they sometimes fail to hit it off together because of differences in style or personality.
But when two people from different cultures get together, they may feel uncomfortable because values, beliefs and attitudes in one culture are very different from those held in another. They may have different expectations about how people should speak, behave, or make decisions.
Many conflicts can be related to chains of command. Imagine how you might feel if your immediate supervisor had given you an assignment, and a little later his boss, whom you normally do not report to, were to come and ask you to do something else.
Some conflicts are related to tone and register. They tend to occur more often in telephone communication. When using the telephone, many people are not cautious in monitoring their tone, and may express irritation in their voice that they would normally try to conceal when speaking face to face.
So, when you find yourself in a situation where conflict is unavoidable, it is best to learn to develop strategies to manage it.
