This is one of my Lang-8 journals. Normal speed, please. Feel free to change it a little if the Japanese sounds strange.
私の親友は今 D.C. の大学で勉強しています。悲しいことに...私はロサンゼルスにいます！:(
高校生だった頃は、いつも一緒にいました。二人で何でもできました！性格も似てるし、趣味も一緒だし、いいコンビでした。
もちろん、今でも、親友です。:) 電話で話したり、Facebook をしたりするのでまだ仲良しです。冬休みや春休みになると、彼女はいつも帰って来るので、その時は毎日一緒に出かけます。
でも、夏には、私は福岡に行く予定があるので、その間は彼女と会えなくなります。悲しいです！冗談で「一緒に日本に行こうよ！」と言いましたが...お金と時間が足りないみたいです。あ〜、本当に寂しいです！
