My pictures that I took when on my way home: I took these pictures spontaneously, while I was waiting for the green light in front of a traffic light.
Those buildings seemed to shine in a yellowish hue because of the late afternoon sunlight.
(= Those buildings shone in a yellowish hue/gave off a yellowish hue/, caused by the late afternoon sunlight.)
