So I got this in the mail yesterday, but I didn't know that it was there. So, I had to pick up this morning, and then I had to go to work. So, unfortunately, I have not opened it, but these are the books that I got off Amazon, and this is an unboxing of them.
First unboxing...
My roommate's playing the new Halo. It's pretty fun; I've played it.
Let's see if this is open yet.
Um, mailing information...
And here it is:
I got easy Arabic grammar because Laoshu told me to get it because he said it's really helpful.
And...
I'm just starting Arabic right now, so...
And I got Teach Yourself Complete Arabic.
Let's get this out the way.
This looks really cool. I'm really excited to start learning this language, and I hope by doing a YouTube channel and making updates like Benny the Irish Polyglot does, I can actually learn it on my own, because I've never actually learned a language on my own.
I'm taking Italian and I'm about lower-intermediate or high-beginner. So, hopefully that won't interfere... I know it won't interfere with the language because it's completely different but I hope it won't interfere with my learning of Italian by learning Arabic as well.
So, you open the box and it's got the two CDs and then it's got the book.
It's a thick book too. That's pretty thick.
'Everything you need to speak read and write'
Let's see...
So I've never actually used Teach Yourself. I've learned Assimil or I've used Assimil for Italian and it's helped quite a bit.
So, hopefully this'll help teach me Arabic from the beginning.
Okay, that's really cool.
And hopefully I'll have a few videos a month, maybe like once a week or so, and if I have any questions or anything I'll post a video on YouTube, and hopefully someone can help me.
Okay, so this is everything that I've got.
So, hopefully these tools will be the beginning of my successful language learning of Arabic.
Okay, catch you later guys.
Thanks!
