Is this you? Frustrated? Unsure how to put your ice cream maker together?
- Jeff, I have a problem.
- What's up?
- My friends came over for ice cream, but I don't know how to put my ice cream maker together, and I forgot to put the insert into the freezer twenty-four hours in advance. There must be an easier way.
- Why, wait! There is! We can make ice cream in as little as thirty seconds!
- You're kidding!
- No, seriously!
- First, you just get some liquid nitrogen.
- Well, Jeff, I don't have any liquid nitrogen.
- Well, it's not that hard to get. I mean, heck, I've got a container right here.
Here's how to make ice cream using liquid nitrogen in thirty seconds. First, pour your liquid nitrogen into a container that you can work with. Set it up on a table out of the way for a moment. Add milk, cream, and whatever your flavoring is.
- Aww, homemade strawberry jam. That looks so good.
If you pour too much liquid nitrogen in at the gain, it'll do this. That's 'cause the nitrogen itself is actually inside that liquid boiling up. So, do it outside on a table where your friends won't get too mad at you if you make a mess. And that looks pretty good to me. OK, go.
- Holy moly.
- This is amazing! How did you make it?

- It's so big.
- Wait 'till you can see what it can do.
- That one's a keeper!
Oops. Correction: "Wait 'till you see what it can do."
