As ya’ll know it’s our tenth season and I wanted to take a look back at how much things have changed since our show began. And I remembered that in Season 1, I had buried a Time Capsule. Unfortunately, I had forgotten where I buried it. But luckily someone from my staff found the Time Capsule and they’ve brought it here today and I thought we could all take a look at it together. Andy, bring it out please! Oh, oh it was cryogenically frozen. So, let’s see what’s in here—Walt Disney’s head for sure. So many things. Oww, it’s very cold, very cold. Alright I buried—this season one, remember. So, a lot has changed in those years. This is my cell phone that I put in, actually, I remember my cell phone. This is the original iPhone I camped out for months when this came. And it had so much memory that it could TWO of my favorite songs. This is how I threw my back out originally, when I buried my phone. This is a picture of , uhh, actually Mama and I got our picture at the mall. We had our picture taken. Yep, but that headgear made me a Covergirl (type of model). Doesn’t Mama look great in denim. That was right before we went to the Caca Gooju (?) concert. Oh, look at this! I totally forgot about this! I was working on a manuscript—it was called 49 Shades of Grey.
I was off by one shade... one shade. And you see, my book that I was working on had pictures in it...(Audience laughs). Oh and this in season one, if anybody has been a fan since the beginning of the show, you'll remember this. This was on my coffee table. It's almost for smoking again, just for this. Almost! Kids I know it looks like fun but, don't smoke. Don't do it. Alright, and here... oh this are my beanie baby collection. This is ah... I remembered my financial adviser said buy stocks in apple, and I said no! This things are gonna worth some money someday. And then of course we have the clothing when we started the "Ellen Shop". It was the first pair of Ellen underwear that we ever made, and it was a lot more conservative in 2003. This was the first pair of underwear we had. And then we sold powdered wig and wooden teeth after that.
