Hi everybody it's me (Raina?). Today I would like to make a video to answer or fulfill the request I received about two weeks ago. Yes. This person asked me: "Is there anyway of improving speaking skills effectively and quickly?" And I was spending a lot of time actually thinking about because if I could actually have this magic, you know, then this would be a groundbreaking, you know, video. And which I hope it becomes. No, no, no. You know, but ah yeah yeah, I was thinking. I don't know how fast, you know, this person wants to improve his speaking skills but I decided to, you know, cover this topic. My own way, ok.
First, unfortunately, there is no magical way of improving your speaking. Like you can (can't?) say everything what you want to say in Japanese, or second language, it's not going to happen overnight. But according to this person, ok, he's actually able to listen and understand Japanese but having a problem, you know, letting it out.

And I found two ways, actuallly, to improve quickly and effectively, ok. And this is only my take, so if you guys have other takes, please share with me, ok?
Number one, analyze what kind of, you know, phrases or sentences or vocabulary you are using in daily life. Ok, and think about the situations you encounter at stores, or restaurants, or when you're traveling to different places, or, you know, in Japan, or on the bus, or at school, or where you're working at, it doesn't matter, wherever. You know? Just study your life. And then analyze what you're using, ok? Every single day. And then start, you know, translating that into Japanese--every situation possible. If you start learning sentences from the books, you feel like you're just memorizing, that's why you don't feel like your speaking level is actually improving. Ok? So use your skills to develop your own Japanese sentences, and, ok, practice speaking. You have to let it out if you want to speak, ok. But this method I'm just talking about is a situational thing, ok. So, you can actually fool yourself. When you face this kind of situation you are prepared. And you think you are so ready and you improved your Japanese so quickly and fast and effectively.

Number two. Every single day, whatever you are doing translate it in Japanese. So right now I am (video) making videos, right? So "Watashi wa bideo o tsukutte imasu."* Right, and I'm speaking. "Watashi wa hanashitte imasu."* You can choose where you want to go casual way or polite way; it depends on what king of Japanese you want to learn, you know. And a lot of people say "ohh we want somebody to talk to." But if you don't have anybody to talk to (actually) you can use the mirror and speak to yourself, or just walking around and just say "I'm walking" What is that in Japanese? I'm eating, so what is that in Japanese? Make this a habit: every sing move you make translate it in Japanese. And after that try to do this:Whenever you are actually daydreaming or thinking something--okay, every single one--try to translate it in Japanese. And don't stop there though.; It you translate it, let it out. Because if you don't let it out, it stays 'there'. You have to let it out comfortably and freely. Does it make sense? I hope it did, you know. Ok, these are the two things that I came up with. You know, since this person has a good level of Japanese already, so I thought this could be a very effectie way of--you know--linking his brain and his mouth to let the Japanese out. What do you think everybody? If you have some advice for him, please share with me, okay. Thats going to be really awesome, yea. But I'm telling you, there's no magical way to just to be able to speak Japanese as a second language. You know like *snap*--next day. Yea, you have to make n effort everyday, you know. But try to make it as fun as possible. That's the key, 'kay. Thank you very much for listening, and talk to you later. Bye!
