Narration (Peter): Who am I? You sure you wanna know? If somebody told you I was just your average, ordinary guy, not a care in the world... somebody lied.
Truth is, it wasn't always like this. There was a time when life was a lot less complicated.
Peter: "Can I take your picture? For the school paper?"
MJ: "Sure."
Tour Guide: "In this lab we have 15 genetically enhanced super-spiders."
MJ: "There's 14. One's missing."
Aunt May: "Peter! Are you all right?"
Peter: "I'm fine."
Uncle Ben: "Pete, look. You're changing. I know, I went through exactly the same thing at your age."
Peter: (WOO-HOO!)
"No, not exactly."
MJ: "Wow!"
Harry: "Peter, may I introduce my father — Norman Osborn."
Peter: "Great honor to meet you, sir."
Norman: "Harry tells me you're quite the science whiz. You know, I'm something of a scientist myself."
Harry: "The hell is that?"
Peter: "Whatever it is, somebody has to stop it."
Uncle Ben: "With great power comes great responsibility."
Peter: "This is my gift—"
MJ: "Wow!"
Peter: "It is my curse."
MJ: "Who are you?"
Peter: "Who am I? I'm Spider-Man."
MJ: "Do I get to say thank you this time?"
Aunt May: "You do too much. You're not Superman, you know."
