Ed Stafford - The Man Who Has Done It All
Ed is a young British explorer, and he's had a lot of exciting adventures. He's walked through jungles, he's swum in dangerous rivers, and he's met a lot of dangerous animals. Have you ever seen a piranha ? Well, Ed Stafford's done more than that. He's eaten piranhas, and they've tried to eat him too!
In 2010, Ed became the first man to walk along the Amazon River from start to finish. That's 6,400 kilometers. He started his expedition in 2008, and he finished it in 2010. During the journey, Ed wrote a blog, and a lot of schools in the UK read about his progress. Now, Ed's become famous all over the world. He's been on TV, and he's written a book about the Amazon.
He's at home in the UK now, but how long will he stay ? Ed's a true explorer, and he's never said "no" to an adventure in his life!
