Welcome to Mardie Station, my name is Lilly.
This is my home-grown garden. We pick vegetables and fruit for lunch and dinner. We have some carrots that come in different colors. And…but they’re not ready to pick yet. We have some beet root, and some lettuce. Look at my chooks. We collect eggs from them. We feed them kitchen scraps and gain every day.
Our pool is made out of a tank. It is very deep. It is not very wide, but there is enough room to swim and do bummies.
We feed our horses every afternoon and morning. I have my very own horse named Forest. We entered the Pannawonica Rodeo. I won first, second, and third in bending and novely event and the barrel races.
Sometimes I go mustering with my dad and brother on the weekends. Sometimes I muster on a moterbike and sometimes on a horse. Occasionally, I work all day, but sometimes just till lunch.
I do record lessons every Friday. So does my brother. We do eat over the phone because our Music teacher is in Port Hedland and we are on our Station four hours away. I like where I live because it is a wonderful place.
