Mi chiamo Sara, ho 25 anni e vivo in una piccola città della Puglia situata fra Brindisi e Taranto, che si chiama Francavilla Fontana.
Francavilla conta circa 40.000 abitanti ed è anche chiamata "La Città degli Imperiali", perché vi è un grande castello che in passato ha ospitato l'omonima famiglia. Nella mia città ci sono ben sette chiese, ed una di queste vanta la cupola più alta del Salento. C'è una piazza molto grande e un lungo viale alberato che conduce fino alla stazione.
Francavilla è famosa per il suo dolce tipico, la "mandorla riccia", ovvero la mandorla avvolta da uno strato di zucchero, e anche per i riti religiosi della Settimana Santa, che attraggono anche molti turisti stranieri.
