Here we are, products of the things that have happened to our ancestry. Here we are assembled – white people, yellow people, and black – but when we look back into the past, to the beginning of human history, we all started from one ancestry. Dividing into many streams, we have discriminated amongst ourselves. If we continue to be divided like this, when will the time come for us to be united again? There are so many historical events. We have been divided and sometimes united again by wars and by the ebb and flow of different cultural spheres.
When we think of religions, all religions have done great works. The religions have been transcending national boundaries and races because of their doctrines. Many peoples have been united through religion. In the Christian world there have been so many different denominations, literally hundreds, but as a whole they have been bringing the world back to God.
There have been so many religions in the world, and each has its strengths and weaknesses. Thus, Buddhism teaches the need for mercy toward all living things, but it has not reached the core truth about God. Christianity has emphasized love, but without truly knowing love’s essence, and without much sensitivity to nature. Nature is much more pure than humanity because it has preserved its original God-given nature, while human beings have distorted their original nature. Even people who live in great houses want to vacation at the beach, or go camping in the mountains. Their original form is looking for some comparable companion, and nature comes closest.
In the past God depended heavily upon many religions, but today’s religions are in disarray, lacking discipline and direction. God’s first problem is how to bring all religions into one unity so that they will serve the original purpose of religion and the practical work with which God has been concerned. Methodists may pray for Methodism to prosper, but that is only one of the 400 Christian denominations. Likewise for Presbyterians. God really feels the urge to jab them and say, “Stop that! Before you pray to me, make unity among all your fellow Christians. Then get together and pray to me. If you cannot unite the world, then at least you can unite with each other.”
Christian denominations today, often promote their faith by proclaiming that their denomination alone can guarantee the Kingdom of Heaven. In God’s sight this is a very unnecessary conflict. That blind, boastful attitude will bring nothing but their own decline and they will never see the sunlight. If there is truly a God of justice He would never let such churches prosper. He would be utterly disgusted.
However, imagine what could happen if Christians were crazy to gather all the denominations together and pray to relieve God’s burden, asking God for the power and ability to reach out to the people. Then of course God would consider their prayer and do everything possible to answer it. God is waiting for the people on earth who will bring all these different denominations into one.
God never wanted division among people. He would like to see all humankind living together as one country. Americans might tell God to come live with them because afer 200 years they have a very comfortable country for Him to live in; they might encourage Him to disregard other, struggling nations. Would God accept their invitation, or would He feel revolted by such thinking?
God would really be moved if people appeared on earth who would encourage Him to overlook the racial barriers separating people and the religious and cultural differences that humankind has fought over, and would demonstrate to Him that they were coming together to form one country centering on Him. America was right to adopt the motto “One nation under God,” but it would have been better to teach “One world under God.” America hasn’t gotten that far yet. God’s problem now is how to bring all nations into oneness.
God has nurtured civilizations and cultures, educating the generations in His way of thinking and living. It’s not that religions are exclusive of each other, but that they are on different levels of development, such as the grade levels in a school system. Primitive religions are on a kindergarten level while others are at the grammar school level, and others the middle school or high school level. Some religions can be equated with the university standard. All religions are different in their degree of understanding of God. There are different subjects within a university and there are also different kinds of colleges. In religion as well we have to distinguish the different areas. For these reasons it makes absolutely no sense for one religion to fight with another religion. It shows they don’t understand God of His work through religion.

Review 1: Just finished watching Inception, and it was great! This is a very good story that holds the viewer on the edge until the final shot. It has all of the elements, action, sci-fi, psychological thrilling salt and peppered with an air of mystery and intrigue. Did he really make it back or not? Doesn't matter. In the end, it not only makes a great conversation piece, it makes you want to see it again. The casting and acting is exceptional. This movie should be (at a minimum) nominated for an Oscar.

Review2: It's rare that a summer movie can claim such utter perfection, but "Inception" is quite possibly the best movie I've seen in quite some time, and I see on average 100-150 movies a year. Audience will come out of this film the same way the did after the first "Matrix" or "The Sixth Sense" wanting to get back in line to see if they really just saw what they thought they saw. The layers of the script are only outdone by the infinite layers of Hans Zimemr's score, which has to be a lock for the Oscar this year. As much as the film is like nothing you've seen before, the score is like nothing you've ever heard before. Christopher Nolan continues to master his craft like a master, and I can only imagine what his next film will bring.

Sleep deprivation, a sleep disorder characterized by having too little sleep, can be either chronic or acute. Long-term sleep deprivation causes death in lab animals. A chronic sleep-restricted state can cause fatigue, daytime sleepiness, clumsiness and weight loss or weight gain.

Approximately 50 to 70 million Americans are reportedly affected by sleep deprivation or other sleep related disorders.

Complete absence of sleep over long periods is impossible for humans to achieve (unless they suffer from fatal familial insomnia); brief microsleeps cannot be avoided.

Sleep deprivation can adversely affect the brain and cognitive function. A 2000 study, by the UCSD School of Medicine and the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System in San Diego, used functional magnetic resonance imaging technology to monitor activity in the brains of sleep-deprived subjects performing simple verbal learning tasks. The study showed that regions of the brain's prefrontal cortex displayed more activity in sleepier subjects. Depending on the task at hand, the brain would sometimes attempt to compensate for the adverse effects caused by lack of sleep.

The temporal lobe, which is a brain region involved in language processing, was activated during verbal learning in rested subjects but not in sleep deprived subjects. The parietal lobe, not activated in rested subjects during the verbal exercise, was more active when the subjects were deprived of sleep. Although memory performance was less efficient with sleep deprivation, greater activity in the parietal region was associated with better memory.

Right now on my cellphone I've got two text messages about going out
this weekend. One is to go drinking at a pub with my friends and
another is to go to an all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink
restaurant for another friend's birthday. The thing is that part of
me wants to do both of these things. Another part knows that I don't
want to keep living like this. So anyway, I've decided to take 3
months of purely healthy living and I'll let you know how the
experience goes, both the positives and the negatives.

How are you? I've kind of been feeling lately that I need to make
some kind of big change in my life. The problem was that I didn't
know what I wanted to change. Well, last night, and I'm not really
sure what it was about last night, but I decided what I need to do.

I'm going to get in the best physical health in my life. For the next
3 months I'm not going to drink at all, I'm going to go to the gym
every day, and I'm going to eat only healthy foods, ie. no restaurant
food or junk food. I know it's a lot easier to say something like that
than to do it, but I know that writing down a goal can make people a
lot more likely to achieve it. Something psychological happens when
you write something down.

Right after I finish writing this email, I'm going to go to the
grocery store and pick up a bunch of healthy fruits, vegetables, and
chicken breasts. I'm also going to buy a fresh "lemon and pear
juice". I found a new fresh juice place only a 5 minute walk from my
house. It's raining pretty hard now but I'm going to go anyway.
Usually in this situation I'd make some excuse because of the rain
and just stay in and order pizza. My diet has been getting worse
lately and I haven't been going to the gym as much as I used to. It's
so easy in life to get "caught up" in some lifestyle that you aren't
happy with. One thing I've noticed about living in a big city is that
drinking and eating relatively unhealthy food is a major part of
social society. I'm not at all against drinking or eating junk food,
it's just that I notice if someone wants to take a break from it,
it's pretty hard. I'm not making any excuses because I realize what I
do is my own personal choice. I just do notice that there is a lot of
subtle pressure to live an unhealthy life.

Rocky IV is a 1985 American film written by, directed by, and starring Sylvester Stallone, the fourth and most financially successful entry in the Rocky franchise.
The story opens with the song "Eye of the Tiger" during the flashback of Rocky's rematch against Clubber Lang, where Rocky defeated Lang with a KO in the third round to regain his title. The picture then fades to Apollo Creed who is seen presenting his favor to Rocky shortly after the Lang fight for helping him train. Meanwhile, Ivan Drago, a highly intimidating 6 foot 5 inch, 261 pound Soviet boxer, arrives in America with his wife Ludmilla, an Olympic gold medal swimmer, his manager, Nicolai Koloff, and a team of trainers headed by grizzled Russian coach Igor Rimsky, and the Cuban Manuel Vega to challenge the best American fighters. His manager takes great pride in showing off the hi-tech equipment which aids in improving Drago's performance. As a demonstration, Drago throws punches at a machine that measures the hit's strength. Motivated by patriotism and an innate desire to prove himself, Apollo is desperate to step back into the ring in an exhibition bout against Drago. A press conference is held to publicise the bout. It begins on affable terms but the mood quickly changes when Apollo is accused of being a "has been" by Drago's manager, who suggests Creed shouldn't even be in the same ring with Drago. Livid with such a statement, Apollo loses his temper and tells Drago they'll "finish this in the ring" before abruptly leaving the conference. Drago appears completely unfazed by this.
Rocky has reservations, but comes round to supporting his friend by helping to train him for the fight. Apollo sets the match between himself and Drago in Las Vegas. With Rocky in his corner, Apollo flamboyantly makes an even bigger show than when he first fought Rocky - including fireworks and a patriotic theme complete with a performance by James Brown, dancing girls and Apollo himself dancing around. Starting the fight in his trademark manner, Drago manages to catch him off-guard quickly after Apollo briefly enjoyed the upper hand, not giving Drago time to punch until late in the first round, and then he mercilessly batters Apollo with a series of devastating punches that quickly turns the tables. Apollo is in dire straits as the first round is over. The commentators and audience are visibly shaken by what they've seen, all except Koloff and Ludmilla, who - smoking a cigarette - appears to be relishing it. Rocky and Duke plead with him to stop the fight. Apollo refuses to do so, and tells Rocky not to stop the fight no matter what. The second round starts just as the first ended. Rocky attempts to throw in the towel but despite Duke's begging, Rocky honors Apollo's wish. It turns out to be a tragic decision, as Drago connects with a devastating hook that ultimately kills the former champion. Drago displays no sense of remorse, commenting: if he dies .... he dies.
Devastated by the death of Apollo Creed and infuriated by Drago's cold indifference to it, Rocky comes to the decision he must avenge his death by agreeing to fight Drago in his home country on Christmas Day, but the WBA refuses to sanction the match for at least two years. In protest, Rocky relinquishes his title. Adrian pleads with him not to fight as she feels he can't possibly win. Supported by Apollo's manager Duke and his brother-in-law Paulie, he flies to the Soviet Union to train. To prepare for the fight, Drago uses very high tech equipment, including computers and special machines not available anywhere else. He is constantly monitored by multiple trainers. He is also injected with anabolic steroids, which finally tells the viewer how he was able to achieve his massive strength. Rocky, on the other hand goes completely prehistoric on his training. He throws logs, chops down trees, jogs in thick snow daily and climbs mountains. When Adrian shows up unexpectedly to give him her unconditional support, Rocky's training becomes more focused and energized than ever before. After intense preparation for both fighters, the two men finally meet in the ring.
Much like Apollo did in the previous fight, the Soviets introduce Drago with an elaborate, patriotic ceremony that puts the attending audience squarely on the side of Drago, leaving Rocky to be fiercely booed. In contrast to his fight with Apollo, Drago immediately goes on the offensive, repeatedly pounding Rocky, knocking him 15 feet across the ring on one occasion, and casually shrugging off his punches. After a pulverizing first round, with Drago easily winning, Rocky comes back toward the end of the second and lands a shot that cuts Drago just below his eye. While Drago is visibly shaken by the reminder of his own mortality, Balboa is fired up, and defiantly stands up to Drago, pummeling him until, after the bell rings numerous times, Balboa is visibly pulled off his opponent. Drago punches Rocky in revenge after putting him in a headlock, and Balboa lifts up and slams Drago to the ground, their managers splitting up the fight. The commentators then said it was like a street fight. While Duke and Paulie cheer Rocky for his heroism, they remind him that Drago is not a machine, but a man. Ironically, Drago comments that Rocky "is not human, he is like a piece of iron" with his own corner reprimanding him for being "weak" in comparison to the "small American".
At this point, the fight becomes a fierce battle of wills between the two boxers. Drago's confidence drops round after round due to Rocky's seemingly limitless endurance, allowing Rocky to get in under his guard and pound him relentlessly. By the fourteenth round, the previously hostile Soviet crowd has been won over by Rocky's determination and is cheering him on. Koloff, fearing retribution from the Soviet Premier, goes over to Drago and berates his performance, fiercely urging him to win and shoving his head. Drago's response is to pick up Koloff by the throat with a single hand, and adamantly proclaim that he fights to win only for himself, which in and of itself is a firm affirmation of his political and personal belief in individualism rather than communism.
In the 15th and final round of the fight, Rocky and Drago trade punch after punch. Eventually, Balboa manages to overcome Drago and knock him out, to the shock of the Soviet Premier. Victorious, Rocky is swarmed as the crowd floods the ring, lifting Rocky onto their shoulders and draping him in the American flag. A bloody and battered Rocky gives a victory speech, acknowledging the initial and mutual disdain between himself and the once hostile crowd, how they've come to respect and admire each other during the course of the fight, and how everybody can "change". The Soviet Premier stands and passionately applauds Rocky and his aides follow suit, as they have no option but to also applaud Rocky for fear of backlash. Rocky ends his speech by wishing his son a Merry Christmas, and throws his arms into the air in victory as the crowd applauds.

Whenever you talk about the need to stay healthy, the first thing everyone suggests you should do is play a sport, with swimming being the most complete one, and thus the most beneficial for your body. I used to swim when I was around fifteen years old, but I eventually stopped because my homework left me no time for it. Now, I haven’t participated in any sport for years, although I used to walk to school and then to university. However, since I graduated in March 2010, even that physical activity has been greatly reduced: I do like walking but I’m rather lazy. Nonetheless, I think I am a healthy person. I don’t smoke or drink and, thanks to my mom’s excellent cooking skills, my diet is very varied: I eat pasta, rice, meat, fish, vegetables, and fruit, and every meal is different from the previous one (if there are no leftovers, of course! Throwing food in the trashcan is something my parents and I cannot stand).

I don't think there are bad qualities or good qualities. I think personal qualities form in a society. They come from a natural desire of human beings. When a child becomes able to communicate he or she begins to transform into a social being as well as a biological being. The society shapes the specific qualities. A quality leads to a value. Then people begin to differentiate based on these values. Kindness, generosity, altruism, loyalty, selfishness, pride, misanthropy and so on are among these values. And where do values come from? As Sigmund Freud said, our values come from unsatisfied desires." I would agree with that hypothesis. And I would add that much satisfaction was needed. One who sees violence in a family when he or she is a child will be more likely to be a murderer. A person who has all his wishes filled as an infant is more likely to be a robber. That is why it is very important to bring children up properly from their first day in life. Parents should not scare their children by different things such as darkness or some kind of imaginary animals. These things definitely damage a child's subconscious mind causing them to grow up as a coward, indecisive person.

Life should be spent being healthy. Being sick is not good. A human being needs good health to stay happy throughout his or her lifetime. Everyone should be aware of his/her health. Good health is an unprecedented gift.
There are many ways to maintain a healthy life. The ecological situation, heredity factors, food supplies, a good diet, regular exercise are the most important things. Usually, so many people don't look after their health. Drinking alcohol, bad work conditions, fast foods can damage health on a vast scale. Not doing enough physical activity could be the main reason for many blood circulation diseases. Intellectual people perceive the value of life and use many things to stay healthy. Diet is a basic principle. Sport and sleep regime could be considered important factors. Not being nervous could be included in the list. I have always been trying to stay healthy by these ways which I mentioned above. I wish every one of you a healthy life.
