After spending most of my life in my small home town Rovigo, I tend to see the disadvantages rather than the benefits of living in a small city. Actually, I don't think small cities suit the needs of young people wishing to have new experiences, meet interesting people, visit museums and exhibitions, as in my case.
To be honest, I must say that there are some small or middle-size cities in Italy and elsewhere offering a wide range of culture, such as Mantua or Treviso, just to name some close to Rovigo. However, I fear I wouldn't live in either of them, because they are still too small (and thus, moving there wouldn't be such a big change from my present condition) and not close enough to bigger cities or not well connected to them. Oh, I do know that Treviso lies just 40 kilometres away from Venice, but I don't consider Venice to be a city! It's just a beautiful museum where no one wishes to live anymore.
If I had to stay in Italy, I would love to move to Milan or at least to Padua or Verona. But I would rather live somewhere else in Europe, for example in France or Germany.

Fever in itself is not a disease. It is a symptom resulting from a disease, most often from an infection such as the flu or another childhood disease.

Every parent already had to deal with a feverish child and none of them have reacted the same way… Some don’t give it enough importance and react too late, others panic as soon as there is a slight sign of fever and believe that their child will be brain damaged!

Fever is important, but not as much as the disease it is hiding! It may be the H1N1 flu, an ear infection, the measles or many other childhood diseases but it could also hide a urinary infection or even meningitis…

Bacterial or viral?
When a child has fever, one of the challenges is to determine what is causing the fever, or at least, to make sure the fever isn’t bacterial. The difference is crucial since viral infections are not treated with antibiotics, contrarily to bacterial infections. In general, the younger the child, the more he seems sick and the more persistent his fever is, the more chances the infection is bacterial. Furthermore, the general state of the child is as important as the intensity of the fever. For example, a child who looks very ill, but only has a slight fever may be sicker than an active and energetic child with a higher fever.

As a matter of fact, fever is one of the body’s normal defence mechanisms and should not always be lowered. Fever highly stimulates the immune system. Reducing the fever too rapidly decreases the amount of stimulation the immune system receives. It is good, to a certain degree, to have fever.

When giving a child acetaminophen or ibuprofen, it is mainly to ease the uncomfortable symptoms of fever rather than to lower the fever itself. However, there comes a time when you need to react (+ 38.5°C) and give the appropriate medication. The help of a pharmacist is essential at this point because he will be able to recommend the right medication, but most importantly, he will help you find the right dosage.

Lather, rinse, repeat is a phrase that is a common part of the instructions on shampoo bottles. It is sometimes also used as a humorous way of saying that a certain set of instructions should be repeated until an explicit or implicit goal is reached, or as sardonic commentary on some people's practice of taking descriptions, instructions or expressions literally and without common sense. Often the phrase is shortened to simply "Rinse and repeat".

(**hearing is passive, listening is active and involves understanding)

• I know, I am not young, and even /( what ever?/even more/?) when I was a kid (a long times ago) I learned English just with some paper books and without any audio. Therefore this time my English is really not good, so sometimes I felt ashamed of (/with) my poor English. But on the other hand, people from other countries also can not speak Korean fluently. So naturally?/surely? It`s not shameful for them. So I too feel that I don`t need feel much shame. From now on I can learn anything, if I want in my heart. Sure, because I am not young, it will be slower than young friends, but I think speed is not the most important thing in our life. If I have an interest in something I will do it even if it`s not so easy, even it`s not very fast/quick/ . I say to myself: ""You don`t need to be afraid about 'Speed', just need to be afraid about 'Stop'!"
