When I was a high school student, I was good at mathematics and physics.
Somehow I was terrible with chemistry. At the beginning of high school, if I do say so myself, I was always one of the top ten students; I was what is called a banner student.Unfortunately, as is often the case with teenagers, I got hooked on music, getting deeper and deeper into a band. The more I practiced the guitar, the worse grades I got.
In the second half of high school, my academic performance was too low to go on to any of the colleges of my choice.I gave up on taking the entrance exams early and decided to attend a prep school in Fukuoka. At the beginning of prep school, I had to choose which colleges I wanted to try to get in to. However, there was a problem. As I mentioned, while I am good at mathematics and physics, I am terrible at English. Since almost all the colleges require applicants to take an English test, it was difficult to look for colleges, which I would qualify. One day, I found a college that would meet my needs and happened to be in my neighborhood. Therefore, I checked it out and found that the school had an unique department called Science and Arts.
Prompted by curiosity,Ｉchose the college and went on to it after all.
It may surprise you to hear that I got interested in design only after I entered the college.

(Dec 10th 2011) <It`s the end of year.>
• Hi~everyone! It`s the end of year.
• Yes, it`s December! The last month of the year!
• Today I had a relaxing time.
• How was this day for you?" / "How was the day for you?"
• Today, when I woke up, my son asked me to go window-shopping with him at a department store.
• Haha, I know he doesn't have a date with his girlfriend today. Oh~ no! He has a date in the evening.
• Anyway we went to a department store together, and we had dolsot bibimbap with doenjang jjigae for lunch at the food court.
• After we finished our lunch, he bought a small gift for his girlfriend.
• Then, we went to Starbucks, and as soon as we sat at the table he began to wrap the present, and I helped.
• The second picture from today is that very present.
• Even though it’s not an expensive gift, I know it’s from the heart./(= "I know it's heartfelt" )
• The first picture is the lunch that I ate with my son.
• Oh, it’s really late. However that’s OK.
• Because tomorrow is Sunday, I don’t need to get up early!
• Em,,,,oh, one more thing, I received a message from a Taiwanese friend today.
• He said that he arrived in Seoul, and that he said “I'd like to enjoy a little/ some skiing with you."
• He went skiing in Korea last winter./="He came to Korea and went skiing last winter" )
• However, I`m afraid I can`t go with him because I have to leave for Beijing this Tuesday. I feel sorry.

(Dec 13th 2011 ) Beijing!
I arrived at Beijing at noon this day/ (at noon today? ), then I had lunch at the "金鼎 Jin ding xuan " with my husband`s Chinese firend。
In the evening we had/ ate?/took?/ dinner at a Malaysia restaurant which is near by a lake. I came back hotel just a moment ago.

• Hello, friends! Are you enjoying your Sunday night / evening?
• I went to a beauty salon today, late in the afternoon.
• Recently (I have been feeling the need to) cut my hair, but I couldn`t go since I was lazy.
• I finally had my hair cut short today.
• I have been wearing my hair short since a long time, because it`s easier to manage (for me).
• Making up / Doing my hair and maintaining a nice hairstyle isn`t easy for me.
• Wow…when I entered that hair salon, I found there were a lot of customers.
Is it because it's the end of the year?
• And, all of hairdressers were wearing* a cute red woolen hat, so I took some quick pictures.
• After I had my hair cut, I bought a banana and tangerines came back home.

(Dec 14th.2011<I went to the 'Beijing Normal University' and hearted a lecture by my old teacher.(Could you check it please?)>
• I went to the Beijing Normal University this afternoon today.
• Yesterday night, before I went to bed I sent an e-mail to my old teacher and old friend.
• I told them I just arrived at Beijing and also asked them if I can hear their lectures.
• Today I saw her reply at noon.
• She said she has two lectures today, and let me know her classrooms.
• So I hurriedly took a taxi at the front of the hotel, then I went to Beijing Normal University. It has been a really long time.
• When I arrived at a class room, she had already started the lecture.(/=The lecture was already began. )
• I felt sorry so I didn’t open the door, I just pushed a sheet of paper under the door.(=I just I pushed a piece of paper into the classroom through a crack under the door.)
• She opened the door and introduced me to her students, and then I heard her lecture with pleasure.
• It seems that her students came from many countries, about 5 more countries.
• I could discriminate them from four more countries such as Japan, Korean, Italy, Middle East, and other countries.
• After class finished, I went with the teacher in her car to a Chinese style tea house and we had a pleasant chat.
• I had such a good time. (= It was such a good time.)
• She suggested she would buy lunch for me tomorrow.
• I felt sorry(/bad), but I know it will be a so good time, so I will go to her house at noon tomorrow.

in fact, what you did is illegal, but it makes this dinner more exciting. it is a combination of restaurant and a dinner party at a private house. this new trend is called supper club, guestraunts or closed door restaurants.

to have this experience you usually have to make a special appointment. .
these underground restaurants are becoming more and more popular.
guests can try new food and meet people.
the host can experiment with food and earn some money as well.
it is like a restaurant, but the host doesn't have to invest any money or worry about regulations and certificates.
guestaurants started in Latin American but now are trendy also in Europe and America, especially in cosmopolitan cities.
people usually find out about these events thanks to Facebook and Myspace.
