School assembly
At assembly, teachers, students, school staff and the headmaster meet in the morning. The headmaster communicates important information. Then the teachers check who is absent during registration.
In some schools, assembly is fun. Sometimes students sing or dance.
In some other schools, assembly is about religion. Students and school staff recite a common prayer.

In 5 years from now Stalin and Lenin are going to be in the car. They are going to be driving to Africa, to visit Cheburashka. On the way they will be tired. And soon, they will notice the Eleon Hotel. It will be a 5-star hotel. And the comrades are going to get a room there. But there is going to be a problem with the room. There will be some other people living in their room. Stalin and Lenin will not want to stay in the room with people they dont know.
They will keep driving, but it is going to be a long way, and they will be really tired. They will see a 1-star Ninja Hotel  and will get a room in that hotel. But there is going to be a problem again. There is going to be water in the room: on the floor, on the walls, on the ceiling, everywhere. They will not want to stay in the flooded room.
They will keep driving, but then they are going to be just exhausted. Finally, they will see a 13-star Monster Hotel. Indeed, there are going to be monsters everywhere. Surprisingly, Lenin and Stalin won’t be scared. Actually, they will like it. Because they are monsters themselves! Yeah, really. Lenin and Stalin are zombies!
They will get a room in that hotel and stay.
Next morning they are going to meet two beautiful monster ladies in the restaurant. The werewolf Merilyn Monroe and the witch Maryana Ro. They are going to fall in love. So, they will decide to stay in that hotel forever.
The year after that their friend Cheburashka will come to visit them at their weddings! Happy end!

Yesterday at 2 pm, there was another robbery. It was at the jewellery shop.
Jack Perry was in the street when he saw the two suspects running out of the shop. They carried a big bag and they had a gun.

The man was quite tall and rather fat. He had short black hair.
He had a black jacket and blue jeans.

The woman was tall and slim. She had long wavy fair hair. She had a big tattoo on her arm. She had a black T-shirt and blue jeans.

They got into a blue car and drove away.

I love many British bands but my favourite is definitely the Rolling Stones.

My mum was a huge fan so we always listened to their songs at home or in the car. Her favourite song was Miss you.

And now, I am a big fan myself. In 2015, I met Mick Jagger after a concert in California and we took a photo.

I have been to many concerts. Their music makes me feel alive.

Did you ever think that supernatural people could exist? From a very young age, Jacob has heard his grandfather's stories about the special children of the orphanage, the director, the loop and the monsters. Every night, old Abe would sit on his grandson Jake's bed and take out his old photos of "peculiar children." But one day, Jacob decided he was too big for these fairy tales and stopped thinking about those kids in the pictures. After a few years, his grandfather called him, panicked because the monsters had returned. The same evening, Jacob found his grandfather dead in the forest. And behind trees, a monster was running away at full speed. From that day Jacob thought he was going crazy.  But to comply with his grandfather's last wishes, he went to the special island. There, he found the peculiar children and the Hollows... First of all, we feel that the author, Ransom Riggs, originally worked for cinema as his writing is visual. The descriptions are not psychological and he takes time to outline the personality of the characters before the story begins. But the descriptions first serve to describe, to set the scene for the action. Then, photos are inserted in the narrative, often illustrating certain descriptions of individuals which would be too complicated to complete without a picture. This choice of inserting photos, in addition to making it more accessible to young people, also proves the author's willingness to work with images. The author himself says that he worked with these photos as basic material for his story. So it's a perfect novel for those who can't stand long descriptions and need action.

My ferry has been cancelled or delayed, what are my rights?
The ferry operator should inform passengers as soon as possible.
If the ferry is expected to be cancelled, passengers should be provided with free snacks, meals or refreshments in relation to the waiting time.
Passengers should be offered the choice of an alternative or a refund .

When an overnight stay becomes necessary, the ferry operator should offer accommodation free of charge

However, no overnight accommodation has to be offered, or costs reimbursed, when the cancellation is caused by weather conditions endangering the safety the ferry.
Passengers are entitled to a 25% refund of their ticket price if the service is delayed for at least:
• One hour for a journey of 4 hours
• Two hours for a journey between 4 and 8 hours
• Three hours for a journey between 8 and 24 hours
• Six hours for a journey of over 24 hours
If the delay exceeds double the time set out, the compensation will be 50% of the ticket price. The ferry operator must pay the compensation within one month of the submission of the claim.
