My presentation is about the private Américain company Vans, who is a subsidiary of VF corporation in the making and sale of skatebording shoes and clothes in the secondary sector.
The company has immaterial resources whith different models of shoes.
The old school a pair of sneakers that has become the emblem of the brand.
It's a large company composed of 5001-10000 person, and which having has a turnover of approximately is a 5 billion dollars.
Recently, the company decided to change their methods of production to take a more possitive approah for the planet and go to subsainable development.
The CEO have taken strategic déscisions that will engage tham on the long term by implementing a plan which aims at reducing ecological footprint of their opérations, their products and services.
For this, the brand's has the ambition to choose 100% of their materials cotton, rubler, polyster and leather amena renevable organic and recycled sources by 2030, by engaging in: get rid of disponable plastic, rethinks the life cycle of the products, reduce the greenhouse effect of the gases...
They have the set up various actions to achieve their goals such as: certification LEED, plant of solar panels.
They also incite their customers to adopt a more ecological be haviours by encouraging them to bring their shoes in local recycling stations, by recollecting the cotton of the shoes or sending the old shoes to countries in need.

Miniland

Imagine you’re a tourist and it’s your first time in London. You’re interested in all the famous places like Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge and Covent Garden Market. But you have only got one day to see the city.

There’s an answer – visit Miniland! It isn’t in the middle of London, it’s at the Legoland park in Windsor. This is only half an hour by train from London’s Paddington Station and it’s open March to November from 10 a.m.

Miniland has got some nice buildings from Edinburgh, Amsterdam and Paris, but there are hundreds of interesting places from London! There are pretty parks like St James’s Park or shops like Hamleys. All of these places are very small and they’re all in Lego bricks.

There are about 40 million bricks in Miniland. One building has got 200,000 bricks – that’s the Canary Wharf office building.

Visit the places in Miniland and take photos of ‘London’ for your family. It’s not real London, but relax – you’re a good tourist.

I love travelling. I have already been to several countries: Spain, Germany, Scotland,
Morocco and France. But I have never been to the United States and Australia.
Rebecca enjoys travelling too.
She has visited many countries: Ireland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, and the United States.
But she has never been to New Zealand, Canada, or France.
John really likes travelling. He has been to lots of countries: South Africa, Mexico, Russia, and Japan. But he has never been to China and India.

That makes my day.

When there are two cups of tea on the table,

At school, I particularly love languages. I study English, of course, and French is my foreign language. The subject I really don’t like is history. We learn about kings and queens and politics. I think it’s very complicated and there is a lot to remember! My favourite subjects are art and drama; they’re very interesting! That’s why today is
my favourite day, I have art in the morning and drama in the afternoon. I also have maths at 10:00 am. The teacher is very nice.
