I watched a DVD named 'The Time Traveler’s Wife’ this weekend. It is very difficult for me to watch or read anything from beginning to end because I’m with my kids all the time. This week, I felt sick and tired of my busy routine, so I watched the DVD to relax at night when I was finally alone.

The movie is about people who travel to the past and future against their will. When I started watching the movie, I felt it was an absurd story. Henry met his wife, Clair, through time travel when she was young. One day, they met when they were both grown-up, and they got married. They had a daughter, Alba, after two times miscarriage. When Alba was 5 years old, Henry died. Because his and his daughter’s time travel, everybody found out that Henry would die soon. In the end, Henry died and Clair and Alba were able to see Henry occasionally through time travel.

When they learned that Henry would die in the movie, tears ran down my cheeks because I felt sympathetic about their sadness from losing a father or husband. Honestly speaking, I was exhausted due to having to do too much every day. Recently I’ve hoping to be free from my kids as soon as possible. I want to have more private time. Working for money was easier than raising kids at home and I wasn’t grateful to my husband who earned a living for our family. After watching the movie, I sincerely repented for my mistake in regarding them as a bother. The movie reminded me of my family’s preciousness
