Dopo aver liberato dalle mani del perfido Jabba i suoi amici Jan, Ciubecca, la principessa Leila ed i due androidi D3-BO e C1-P8, il cavaliere Jedi Luke Skywalker si riunisce alla flotta ribelle per attaccare la "Morte Nera", l'implacabile e poderosa macchina da guerra dell'imperatore. Le vicissitudini dell'impresa portano Luke a scoprire che Lord Dart Fener, il crudele alfiere dell'imperatore, è suo padre e che Leila, la principessa, è sua sorella. Luke è sconvolto dalla rivelazione, fattagli in punto di morte dall'ultracentenario Yoda, capo Jedi, anche perché è conscio che la battaglia finale sarà decisa, con ogni probabilità, dal suo scontro col padre: e sarà uno scontro all'ultimo sangue. Così, mentre Jan attacca con un gruppo di ribelli la base che dà energia alla Morte Nera", aiutato dallo strano popolo degli Ewok, Luke riesce ad approdare sulla Morte Nera, dove viene catturato: qui l'imperatore in persona cerca di convincerlo ad abbracciare la sua causa malvagia, ma il cavaliere Jedi rifiuta, nonostante si renda conto che, con ogni probabilità, l'attacco fallirà perché l'impero era - contrariamente a quanto si aspettavano i ribelli - pronto a fronteggiarlo. Nonostante ciò Luke tenta la carta disperata di eliminare l'imperatore, ed è a questo punto che si deve battere con il padre: dopo averlo ferito, Luke tenta di assalire l'imperatore stesso, ma di fronte alla sua strapotenza sta per cedere: lo salva il padre, che, sebbene moribondo, uccide l'imperatore riconciliandosi così col figlio e, ritornato in questo mondo sulla strada del bene, consentendo il trionfo dello Jedi.

I'm sorry, I uploaded the same file twice because of some problems with my internet connection...
I think you've already noticed what a mess they made with the characters's names in the italian translation: firstly they changed them, then the original names became so famous worldwide that they used those ones.
Another problem came from the letter "J": we didn't have this letter in our alphabet, it was only used in ancient italian for proper names and there it was read as "Y"...
For this reason "dello Jedi" sounds horrible to the italian ear: we would rather say "dello yedi" or "del jedi (dgedi)".
Luckily, these days italian translations are better!
