Have you ever caught a glimpse of a bear, tiger and lion wrestling and cuddling as friends? This would be a rare sight! After all, these predatory animals normally fight over prey and territory. At an animal sanctuary in Locust Grove, Georgia, USA, though, this was a common sight for about fifteen years. Three exotic animals were all found suffering from malnutrition and rescued from their traumatic living situation in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
The three animals were Leo, an African lion, Baloo, an American black bear, and Shere Khan, a Bengal tiger. The three male cubs seem to have forged a strong bond during this early time of adversity. To this day, they can be spotted sleeping, playing and eating together throughout their large three-acre living enclosure. As unlikely as their friendship seemed in the beginning, it stood the test of time, lasting more than a decade.
