Hello!
My name is Jamie Oliver. I am a famous British chef. I specialize in Italian cookery.
I was born in 1975 near London. My parents had a pub and I started working in their kitchen when I was eight.
I love cooking, obviously, but I'm also interested in sports and I enjoy traveling abroad, especially to Italy.
I am married. My wife is called Juliette. Her nickname is Jools. We have five children together: three daughters ( Poppy, Daisy and Petal) and two sons (Buddy and River).
We live in Essex but I work in London where I have several restaurants and where I record my TV culinary shows.
My other activities are TV shows and writing cookery books. They are very popular.
So my days are really busy.
I often meet my staff at one of my restaurant, then I go to the BBC studios and meet with the producers and I shoot a TV show a week. I also invent, try and write no=ew recipes.

"culinary": long u but is often pronounced with a short u: like "cue" is correct but you often hear it "cull" (so often that it's no longer really "wrong")
