Well, it's that time of year again! Tax season. Which do I dislike more, tax time or winter? It's a toss up. Actually, except for this winter, I think I dislike tax time more.
For some people, it's not too difficult. Their boss gives them a form at the end of the year, they fill out the form, and it's over. But because I'm self-employed, there many, many things I need to record, add, subtract, multiply... well, you get the idea.
Once I get the final figures, I send them to my accountant to finish the process. The tax laws change from year to year, and I could never keep up with the changes on my own. I'm so grateful that he is willing to take care of the final filing for me! The deadline is April 15, so I have to be diligent in working on this! At least when I finish, I can forget about it for another year!
