I need your help! My brother, Maui, disappeared! We were fishing on our boat in the Pacific Ocean. Maui used his magic hook and fished a really big fish ! He hit it so hard that it created all the islands of New Zealand, also known as Aotearoa.
After that, he stole the powers of Ra, the God of the sun, and of Tangaroa, the God of the Ocean, to give it to the humans ! He also took the immortality away from Hine-nui-te-po, the Goddess of Death, and he became a demigod. I think the Gods kidnapped him in revenge !
*sighs* He was brave, smart and humble… His tattoos represented that : the shark represents bravery, the turtle represents intelligence and the mask represents humility. But now he has disappeared!
And New Zealand is strange now… Nature is changing, animals are disoriented and I think it is all linked!
