A romance is when two people share a love story. But when two boys or men are very good friends, that’s not a love story, you call it a “bromance”: it’s like a romance between two brothers! Today, we’re going to look at one of the most famous bromances in the Marvel Universe — because, from super-powered humans to alien assassins, everyone needs a friend. Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes were the best of friends growing up. They played together, they joined the army together, they fought against the Nazis together, and they died while on the same mission together. But Steve Rogers was resurrected and became Captain America. He was very sad for losing his dear friend Bucky, but he continued alone his action to defend democracy, truth and justice. And then the impossible happened — Steve Rogers and his long-lost friend reunited. There were some difficult moments, when Bucky
became the Winter Soldier and even tried to kill his former best friend, but in the end, he saved his life. Captain America made a pact to always be friends with Bucky. If you follow the comics, you will know that this relationship has been very complicated through the years, but ultimately it still stands as the true American Bromance!
