Today, I want to talk about something really important – taking care of our planet.
Our Earth is like our home, and right now, it needs our help.
There are problems like climate change, pollution, and deforestation.
Human activities produce greenhouse gases, and so our planet gets warmer and warmer and more and more polluted.
If we don’t stop polluting, if we keep cutting down trees and destroying our planet then global warming will continue and the polar ice caps will melt and so the sea levels will rise. If we don’t act now, coral reefs will no longer exist and we will face the extinction of a lot of endangered species.
But we can make a difference !
We can start by doing small things every day. You know, like using less plastic, turning off lights when we don't need them, and planting trees. We can also save water, for example by taking a quick shower instead of a bath. These little actions add up and help our planet.
We all know we should use more renewable energy, like the sun and the wind, instead of fossil fuels.
We should reduce carbon dioxide emissions, for example, we could eat less meat and buy local food or grow our own vegetables. We could also walk or cycle to school instead of taking the bus.
Remember, every action makes a big difference.
Let's take a pledge for our planet !
