Note to recorder:

Not too fast (it's for young learners). The ideal would be two different voices (either the same gender or different gender (but with a change of name!! We can go for Jamie and Nick for instance :D). Thank you so much!!

(phone ringing)
Abby: Hullo?
Amelia: Abby! How are you? How’s your new school?
Abby: Hi Amelia, I’m great thanks. School’s fine, but it’s quite different from my old one.
Amelia: Oh really? How’s it different?
Abby: Well, because it’s a boarding school, we don’t go home at the end of the day. All of the students sleep at school in big dormitories.
Amelia: That sounds fun!
Abby: It is sometimes but the rules are quite strict, we must go to bed at 9 o’clock every night and we mustn’t talk once we’re in bed. Then we must clean and tidy our dormitories every day!
Amelia: Hmmm, that doesn’t sound so fun.
Abby: It’s not all bad though, there are lots of extra activities after school like sports and music. I’m doing badminton and rock climbing. You must choose the activities that you want to do at the start of the term though.
Amelia: Wow! Sounds great! I saw a photo of you in your uniform, what’s it like?
Abby: It’s ok but it’s not very comfortable. We must wear the uniform from Monday to Friday but at the weekend we don’t have to wear it, we can wear whatever we like. Amelia: What else is different?
Abby: Not much, the other rules are similar to my old school, we mustn’t run in the corridors, and we must arrive on time to all our classes. Oh, and we must do our homework!
Amelia: Just like my school, then!
