In the third extract, the main character feels uneasy/ ill at ease / uncomfortable. He wishes he weren’t here .The narrator thinks that Dracula is a dead soul / being.
The fourth extract describes a specific event during the main character’s evening.
He decides to shave because he can’t sleep. He didn’t notice that the Count came in so he feels startled.
Even though the Count was behind the narrator, he didn’t see him in his shaving glass because he hasn’t a reflection.
Count Dracula is probably going to bite the main character.
