This is the first part of the article about Internet. I decided to divide it into smaller chunks, but I would like one person to read all of them, if this is possible.This is an exercise for my German phonetics class and I would like to listen to a native speaker reading it and then imitate it myself. Das Usenet ist eine Gemeinschaft. Es besteht nicht aus Computern und Kabeln, sondern aus mehreren Millionen Menschen in aller Welt, die das Internet und andere Computer-Netze dazu benutzen, um Informationen auszutauschen. Es besteht überwiegend aus Leuten, die etwas Neues durch das Lesen von interessanten Fragen, Antworten und Diskussionen lernen wollen. Der Internet-Benutzer bemerkt leider, dass sich in einer so großen Menschenmenge leider nicht immer alle kultiviert, hilfreich und freundlich verhalten, wie man sich es wünschen würde. Die folgenden Hinweise sollen euch helfen, diesbezügliche Fehler zu vermeiden und das Usenet erfolgreich zu nutzen.

By the way: I spoke a little slower than natural speed to make it easier for you to imitate, but I tried to produce all the sounds like I normally would. (As you perhaps know, a lot of people tend to overemphasise the final syllable if they speak slower. Of course, this is wrong...)
