黑洞係天文知識，根據現代物理學理論同天文學理論，預言嚮宇宙空間裏面嘅一種天體區域。

黑洞係由一個質量相當大嘅天體，喺核能耗盡死亡後發生重力塌縮後形成。根據牛頓萬有引力定律，由於黑洞第一宇宙速度過大，連光都走唔到出來，所以叫黑洞。

喺呢個區域嘅萬有引力非常強大，任何物質都冇可能走得出呢個區域，甚至光都俾佢嘅強大重力拉返轉頭，因此黑洞本身唔會發光，係黑麻麻嘅天體，唔可以用天文望遠鏡直接觀測到，但天文學家可以藉觀察黑洞周圍物質被吸引嘅情況，揾出黑洞位置。
