As he looked around him he could not know whether its day or night, probably he slept too long after his night shift he cursed himself to be in this profession, but at this point of time he knew he could not do anything about it. He looked at his watch the hand needle finally hit 10:30,it is too late he thought as he looked outside the window the city seems to be covered in blackness, noise of automobile has subsided by the silence of dark and the cricketing sound blended an uneasiness into the surrounding, he stepped outside in the balcony and looked upward ,the whole sky was glittering with stars as if there are millions of pearl lying in a coal mine.
Well it is too late for dinner the whole market would probably have closed by now. There is no use of waking up landlord as he still has not paid rent,food will be the last thing the landlord goanna ask about, or should i just check out the near bazaar he was juggling his option .Finally Alex decided to considered the second option he put on the t shirt crumpled beneath his pillow, got his trouser on and tried to locate his glasses. He locked his room jumped the gate which was always locked much earlier by landlord Alba. Alex was now following the small road which leads to the nearby market, he knew that people here in Hills pack up early and hit the bed soon, and darkness along with the silence engulfs the whole valley ,but this is something Alex like most about this place, he was away from that fast ,artificial life of metro cities where peace of mind is lost amidst automobile, in crowd & in Gizmos. hats why he took the shelter of this place where he could relish the beauty of nature and live a simple life
