Next summer, I'm going to travel around the United States. I'm so excited! My parents have planned everything. First we are going to visit Florida, then we are going to the state of New York. We are going to stay a few days in New York City. After visiting New York City, we are going to the state of South Dakota, then to Wyoming. And before going to California, we will spend a week in Arizona. It is going to be a great trip!
DESTINATION 1: Florida.
In Florida, I am going to sunbathe and go scuba-diving in Miami. I am also going to eat a lot of delicious fruit, like mangoes, grapefruits, oranges, and pineapples! If we have time, we will visit an amusement park in Orlando. Maybe Disney World!
DESTINATION 2: New York City.
We are going to go sightseeing in New York City. I want to see the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. We will also visit some museums, and go shopping of course! We will picnic in Central Park if we have time. I am going to take lots of photos!
DESTINATION 3: South Dakota.
In South Dakota, we are going to see Mount Rushmore, because I have always wanted to see the 4 Presidents carved in the mountains.
DESTINATION 4: Wyoming.
We are going to visit Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. We are going to do lots of things: go hiking, camp near a river, ride horses, and watch wild animals with binoculars. I am sure we will see grizzly bears, wolves, and bison. I will take a lot of photos of these animals and show them to my friends.
DESTINATION 5: Arizona.
We are going to go climbing in the Grand Canyon in Arizona! I can hardly wait! It's going to be very impressive!
DESTINATION 6: California.
We are going to go sightseeing in San Francisco, California. I would like to see the Golden Gate and the famous prison Alcatraz. If we have time, I will go windsurfing and read at the beach.
In Los Angeles we will go shopping and see Hollywood.
