Three years ago, Rebecca spent her winter holidays in Italy.
In the Italian Alps, she learnt how to ski. She said it was difficult. She fell many times! She even hurt her left knee and broke her right arm! While skiing, she lost her favourite bracelet. The weather was very cold and windy. Even if she wore warm clothes, gloves and a scarf, she caught a cold! Her parents called a doctor who came immediately. He gave her some medicine. She stayed in bed for a couple of days. She felt very weak and slept a lot in order to get better. To while away the time, she read the third Harry Potter book and her mother made cookies to cheer her up.
She brought me a nice scarf from Italy. It is a very beautiful scarf. I think she paid a lot of money for it. She did not like her holidays in Italy at all!
