It is an international NGO which deals with the impact the human population has on the climate, the landscape and animal life throughout the planet. Their goal is that humans live in harmony with nature.
Their actions are enormously varied. They try to restore ecosystems and reduce our ecological footprint. They work in cooperation with governments, business, scientists and local communities.
They try to have an influence on decision-makers and to educate the population at large. They have an extensive network and people from all walks of life donate money.
