The accident.
On Monday morning, June 1st, Mr Wheel, the bus driver was driving along a little street in Paris. The sun was shining. Mr Wheel stopped his bus at a bus stop and a lady got on. Just as Mr Wheel was leaving the stop, a black cat jumped in front of the wheels. The driver was surprised, he braked, that was a brutal stop for the heavy vehicle. Mr Stamp, the postman, was riding his bike behind the bus. He was hurrying, he was late.... He hit a little boy who was trying to get on the bus. The little boy fell on the road. Mr Stamp fell too...
On Monday morning, June 1st, Mrs Clean was at Mrs Rich's. The old lady and her maid were chatting. Mrs Clean was dusting the furniture and Mrs Rich was finishing her third cup of coffee. All of a sudden, there was a terrible noise outside. Mrs Clean ran to the window. The 2 ladies saw a little boy, he was lying on the road behind a big bus. He was crying and could not move. They saw the postman near the little boy, his bike was broken and his letters were all over the place. The two ladies saw Mr and Mrs Horsie arrive near the boy and the postman. Mrs Horsie talked to the boy and Mr Horsie talked to the postman. The Butcher made a call. Shortly after, an ambulance arrived.
On Monday morning, June 1st, Mr and Mrs Horsie were working in their shop. At 10, the shop was empty, Mr Horsie was cutting meat and Mrs Horsie was counting money. Suddently, they heard a terrible noise in the street. They ran outside the shop. A little boy was lying on the road, he was hurt. A postman was on the road too. His bag was open and there were letters all over the place. Mrs Horsie tried to help the little boy but he could not move. Mr Horse talked to the postman then he picked up his telephone, he dialed 18.
On Monday morning, June 1st. Mr Stamp, the postman, was riding his bike. His bag was heavy and it was hot. Mr Stamp was late.... Mr Stamp was cyling as fast as he could..... there was a big bus in font of him and a silly kid trying to get on the bus. Mr Stamp didn't slow down. Suddenly, he was lying on the road, the silly boy was next to him, the mail was all over the place. Mr Stamp saw Mr Horsie, He heard him talk to him, he saw people coming around him. He wanted to collect all his letters but he felt awful. An ambulance arrived
