Then I will talk about some important events of the year 1975 the year I was born

Politics

- In that year Augusto Pinochet was in the government

- Of all the Presidents in this picture, the first three died some time ago

- In the case of men, they weren’t reelected again.

- And only one of them, “Sebastian Piñera” thinks of running for president for the second time

Sports

- Chile was chosen as Host Country for "The Pan American Games" in the congress of August 30, 1969 by the Pan American Sports Organization
-
- but Pinochet didn't authorize it.

- The Chilean Military meeting rejected the indications and the host was withdrawn.

- Sao Paulo, Brazil was elected as the new host, but it had to refuse in 1974 due to an outbreak of meningitis.

- Two months later the host was Mexico city

Progres of road works

- In 1969, on May 29, the work began between “San Pablo” and “La Moneda”.

- In 1975, the first train left the line on May 15 traveling between “San Pablo” and “Estación Central” Stations.

- A period of white march began.

- The inauguration of “Metro de Santiago” officially began 4 months later.

Science

- the first personal computer marketed on a large scale was created ,for the first time containing liquid Crystal and the first word processor was created as well.

- This model was discontinued, but it was improved by the competition.

- Microsoft was founded on April 4th, 1975. Dedicated to the software and hardware areas.

- Its headquarters are in Redmond, Washington, United States.

Music

In those years Barry White was heard with “You’re the first, the last, my everything” but “I've Got So Much To Give” wasn’t popular jet..

and Eagles with “I wish you Peace”….

And in Spanish music Jose Luis Perales was heard with “ Y te vas” and Camilo Sesto with “Melina”.
