Banksy is a famous politically involved British street artist
who was born in 1974 near Bristol.
He began his career in 1992-1994 with a group of taggers.
His technique combines graffiti writing with a specific stencilling technique.
He uses stencils prepared in advance, spray-paint and canvases.
He has covered the walls of most of the big cities around the world with his paintings to denounce oppression.
The most remarkable work he has ever made is the one he did to celebrate peace on the border between Israel and Palestine in 2005.
This is my first try. I'd like this short text to be recorded for my students. It has to be quite slow, to use it as a dictation.
