Today many of my lang-8 friends wrote and talked about the earthquake and tsunami Japan that happened today. • Just a moment ago, I was also watching the video on the news. • Wooo, it`s so terrible, and really scary}! • The newscaster said that it `s the biggest earthquake in Japanese history, and hit 8.8 on the Richter scale. *{Richter리히터 스케일(지진의 진도(震度) 척도, 1-10까지 있음)}

• Experts predict that this tsunami will effect countries close to Japan, and that, by about 6:00 tomorrow, Taiwan also will be affected by this tsunami . • The countries near Japan and the Pacific coast are now on high alert -*{a•lert. …에 경보를발하다}-

• I saw the footage of the Sendai airport being submerged by the waves on the news. • There are many Japanese people waiting for their flights now at the InChun airport. • Currently all air planes bound for Japan have been grounded. ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ
