(Dec 3rd.2011) <I Had a New Suit Made for my Son.>Today I went into town with my family in order to have new suits made for my son and my husband.="Today, I went into town with my family in order to have them measured for suits by a tailor."
I had a suit made for my son as a congratulatory gift for getting his new job. [another way to write it]:=In celebration of my son's new job, I had a suit made for him.
As we were driving down the road, I took these photos. The first photo is of the Cheonggyecheon stream.
The second is a sunset that I took on the Seongsan Bridge, when we were on the way home. The last picture is of the wall of a cafe where we stopped for coffee.---[ NOTE ]---
⑴:If you are paying someone to make the suits, you are "having them made", or "having them tailored" -- meaning having them made exactly for their size. ]
⑵:You can say pictures or photos. I think "pictures" is a little more common for spoken, and "photos" can be used for spoken or written. ]
⑶:Again, you could use picture too. "Photo" always means an image from a camers. "Picture" (as a noun) can mean an image from a camera, but also can mean a an image from drawing, painting, sketching, etc. ]
⑷: It's common to use "of" when referring to photos, since the action of photographing is often referred to as taking a picture "of" something. Examples:
ⓐ"The last picture is of the wall of a cafe where we stopped for coffee."
ⓑ "I took a picture of a cute dog."
ⓒ"I took a cute dog picture."
ⓓ"Look at this picture of a dog."
ⓔ"Look at this dog picture." ]
