《Movie: Taking Woodstock(2009) } 》
Today in the late afternoon, I suddenly went to see a movie ‘Taking Woodstock(2009) ‘ with 2 friends of mine。 Why did I suddenly see that movie? Em….. today at noon, I got/received a message on my cell-phone from my friend. She asked me “Why don’t we go to a movie, how about it?” sounds more natural. I sent a reply right away “Why not?Good! See you at 3:30pm!”.So we three friends had a sudden movie time. A few days ago, by chance, I read a column about this movie in a newspaper, and that columnist made reference to a scene where one policeman who put a flower on his motorcycle helmet to enter the hippies crowd.Maybe he was very impressed with her. And now I will talk about this movie very briefly. This movie`s is set in the 1960s.
The setting of this movie is a small city in the USA in the 1960s, and and it` s a story founded on fact. The story is begins with one young man who he would prepare for a rock festival at his village, and had experienced all kinds of happenings….Through that movie I saw many kinds of hippies`s fashion, style, thoughts and act/conducts etc. I found it very interesting.
Ang-Lee is this movie’s director, who already filmed the movies ‘Brokeback Mountai]’ and ‘ Lust, Caution’ etc. But most of his movies had heavy subjects, but this movie dealt with more humorous and pleasant things, and was shot from a different viewpoint/ angle. Anyway, it was not a bad thing that I could return to 30~40 years ago , and see and feel interesting hippies`s atmosphere with me. Ok, then bye ~ Good night! ※oh— one more, very interesting view of this movie, Many hippies`s having bath in a river completely naked, drug and homosexuality etc, all of those hippies`s atmosphere were shot through a very natural angle .It was not a through heavy angle, rather as through a lilting and very humorous focus. So we can enjoy this movie as a feeling of going on a picnic with the hippies`s. And the other interesting thing, this movie is called as a musical movie but there` was no music scene.
