Should be 'Prick up your ears,' meaning to sharpen your hearing. 'Prick one's finger' means to draw blood due to a puncture from a pin or thorn. Prick is also used as a slang term for penis and should be cautiously used.

In case you are interested, I never heard of "Pick up your ears" or "Pig In A Poke". (from Pennsylvania, USA)
