Not too fast. Woman's voice.
I am Lady Mary Seymour. My mother was Henry VIII's last wife : Katherine Parr.
After the king's death, my mother married Thomas Seymour and they had a daughter : me. Unfortunately, my mother died shortly after my birth and my father was accused of treason and executed by order of the new King, Edward VI.
My mother's friend, the Duchess of Suffolk became my gardian and raised me. Two months ago, the Parliament allowed me to inherit my father's possessions and properties.
Among my father's possessions, I have found a large trunk filled with papers and letters. One of these letters is particularly intriguing. I would like you to read it and tell me what you think about it.
