ASTRONAUTS’ DAILY LIFE
Sheldon Levine, October 21
What is it like to be an astronaut on a space station?
Some things are very different in space. Astronauts can’t have showers because the gravity is different from the Earth. Water floats in space so the astronauts have to wash with special soap and wet towels. Food is not the same, too. They have to eat dried food in bags. At night, astronauts have to sleep in sleeping bags that are tied to the wall so they won’t float around. Life in space is very different.
Did you know?
On July 23rd, 1980, Pham Tuan became the first Vietnamese astronaut in space.
Hi there. I would be happy to read this but I feel that there are 2 glaring grammatical problems. The first sentence is missing a word. I would suggest, What is it like being an astronaut on a space station?
I also feel that the sentence "Food is not the same, too" should be "Food is not the same, either."
It is your choice. If you would like it to be read as it was originally written I can do that for you or I can read it with the corrections.
